    Dear Mr. Satya Prakash,

How the bloody hell can you say any place before 1997??? you lived in only one place till 97. BHAGALPUR. In the same house. Going to same school.

    Please explain.

    regards.

You can watch all those movies over n over again? I mean Forrest Gump is great but over and over again?

I can either watch comedies or movies with special effects again n again.

You don't watch TV? :O I just hope you're not a tv hater.

Its good to know you did some voluntary work. Not many people can work without getting paid :)

//Many places in North, East, South and Central India

you should have mnetioned the places instead of leaving two blanks :(

The holiday list looks like the who's who of Europe.

Beautiful mind just missed my list by a whisker.

Corporate boardroom was a good choice. I shud have mentioned that too. And then made a decision to give myself an year of expenses paid vaccation.

Maacha, there are few as intelligent comedies as forrest gump. Ok I am duffer but it took me 3 screenings to understand the pun behind each and every dialogue of the movie. And with each screening the amusement(not laughter and sometimes its a stronger emotion, coz it makes u laugh at later times)got augmented. And the special effects in the movie were amazing. Like Hanks bending over to get his posterior checked by L Jhonson or shaking hands with Kennedy, is it?

But my only grouse, Shawshank Redemption should have got the Oscar over it.

    @sej: What does Maacha mean?

I always found Forrest Gump funny but its not really a ha-ha laugh-a-minute comedy. Tom shaking hands with Kennedy was a pretty cool effect tho!

    Raj & Sher ,

Sher has explained about Forrest Gump b'fully. It has lot of comedies and lot of thought provoking elements. One more laughing scene, when Forrest says,"his dad was also named Forrest"
I have these movies in my laptop and any evening when I reach home tired after day's work, seeing Gump is one of the best way of unwindings. So !

Agreed it is not that kind of comedy as "The 40 Yr old Virgin" but it is different kinda.

I think Casablanca and Forrest Gump are the two movies whose dialogues are used again and again by ppl in their daily life.

There are many places where I lived in India and was in a fix, whcih places to mention and which to not, so I clubbed them under India. :)

Nah, I am not a telly hater.

Sher, A B'ful Mind is again a movie to watch when you are feeling low !

Yeah Shawshank was equally good movie but tough luck. Two movies, one had to be bit unlucky.

Sher your explanation of boardroom cracked me up, lol.

I did a bit of travelling last summer so that's how I got them on my list :d

    Dear Mr Veera,

What you said is not true, there are many places where I lived. But even then it was not what I meant.

I meant place on the 'time line', like going back in times.

And, I didn't expect you to understand it.

    all my best,

    Regards
    Satya

Oh satya ... you merged the space and time dimension ... sorry, i wasnt thinking of relativity theory when i wrote it.

  • At 10:35 AM, Blogger greensatya said…

Veera - Yeah, I took the unilateral liberty of merging the space and time dimension.

Raj - About that voluntary work - I learnt lot about life from mine that experience.

Akanksha - No, I don't hate TV, but when I have internet 24 hours where do I get time for Telly ?

You and Raj have so similar taste and dislikes. Trust me see those two movies and more you see more you will like them. And tonight I think I will watch B'ful mind again.

Aaki - That's like a good girl !! And Eternal sunshine is a movie to be seen in winter just like 'Serendipity' is to be seen during Christmas.
