Weather update
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ladies and gentleman, I am reporting the weather, live from North Pole. After the two weeks of perfect Siberian winter in January end, which even Napoleon was not able to conquer, we are having it again. This time the alcohol refuses to budge from -26C.
The only change this time is the sunlight. It is a welcome realization that there is something called Sun. As I write this, sunlight is gracing my laptop. I look outside window and see the glistening snow particles. The myriad particles, spinning and revolving seems to be telling the story through their kaleidoscopic flight.
Eyes with their reflex tend to avoid the sunlight. May be they are not used to it or those bouncing from snow and ice seems hurting. But, where to escape? Soon the days will come when there will be no night. But till then may we all survive.

Sorry for delay in replying to comments, I wasn't home.
Akanksha - We get around 6 months of continous sunlight and six months of no sunlight. We don't go out in Sun, will freeze. The best thing to enjoy now is 'icecream', it feels warm and you can take neat bites.
Freeze - Yeah it is too cold now, but forecast say it will come down to -11C at the end of week and I dont mind that kind of temperature. It is okay
Mowgli - Yeah, it holds the key. Why don't you come here and see for yourself ?

so the sun is finally out, thats cool!!
btw, at -26c, how much does it hurt if you bump a toe against the wall?

Sher- "We All" meant all of us leaving in North Pole and I meant surviving this harsh winter. Minus 9 and such is comfortable, -15 is okay but -26 is not :d

Raj - Yeah, the Sun is finally out :)
He he, it doesn't hurt if you bump your toe against the wall when you are in your apartment or office or such..:d
if you are on street and your toe is not in your shoe and you bump against the wall, you might touch any metal and get frost bite :d after that need to cut the toe.
Haven't tried it though, looking for some guinea pig, are you okay becoming one ?

Raj - Heh! you should try out new things in life.
Heather - Why it is so ? Jeez, it will be too difficult then, some problems with the heating system?
and I am also so getting mad at this continuing winter. And the FMI, the forecast will say -11 and temp just below that will be -17, donno why pays them and why?
Last year it wasn't this cold or else I wouldn't have risked this winter.

Sounds very poetic, the weather. But sounds scary too. I'll take harsh summer over harsh winter anyway. But then that's just me :)

Casa - Nothing is poetic in this severe cold :d. After spending two years in Finland, I don't think any summer will be harsh for me. It would always be welcome summer.

Mowgli, you are the dude not me. I know this was your strategy to save youself from cold, but I don't think I would be able to use it. Anyway thanks for help.
