Just like that

I just wanted to sort of 'document it'. DNA a daily newspaper of Mumbai,India in their blog round up mentioned my blog. You can read it here.

The articles mentioned by them were on Mittal steel's bid for Arcelor. I had written two articles on it, here and here.

Thanks to Kaps for pointing the newspaper article to me.

/Satya Prakash from Finland, on his blog ‘My Journey’, dispassionately examines the reasons behind the Mittal steel bid/

I object to the word 'dispassionately'...it should be replaced by 'intelligently'

and /He has more to say, of course/

    hehhehhehehehe! do you?

btw: the links here and here only go to one article. please help.

and yes...i have to say one more thing
    WOW :)

Koi - Thanks and I have fixed the link. Yeah the word intelligently would have been better ;), but I guess it was due to the disclaimer I put in my second article.

I am not surprised to see you being quoted anywhere, Satya.

You have a clear and balanced approach to issues and a flair for penning them down in a structured manner.

All the very best for many more peaks to conquer.

Among the reasons you mentioned for the Acerator takeover, the bargaining power vis-a-vis suppliers was to my mind the most important because raw material is a significant percentage of the total cost.

In the second article, the french opposition is more case of which side their bread is buttered because of what you have mentioned about boeing.

Hiren - Yeah thats very much the benefit that the new entity gets on merging.
